Fairview Road
Fairview Road
This was taken yesterday outside of Fairview cheese and wine farm in Paarl close to Franschhoek. The cheeses were excellent and so was the wine!

Fairview orange marmalade was excellent as well, had that on toast this morning :)

Excellent Craig - looks like it was a warm day?!

Thanks for the comment Simon :) It was 30C, which is moderately hot for this part of the Western Cape.

Love these road shots. Always wonder what exciting thing is over the hill.

The road up to nowhere, love this centered framing of the road.

I guess you were lucky that the road was going straight after all this wine tasting ! ;-)
Love this kind of landscape... you feel so small.

What a nice place. I can imagine myself on my motorcycle on this road. Would be so much fun

Very nice technique and frame. What lense do you use?
Craig Wilson | April 15, 2008 1:28PM
I use a Canon 24-105mm f4-LIS USM lens, I dont take it off my camera very often as it is very versatile, one of the best all round lenses money can buy in my opinion.

Like how the long road takes you through the lovely countryside.
